Please join us for a community talkback on womenβs health and the state of emergency across a number of healthcare issues including but not limited to: Reproductive and Maternal Health, Medicaid and Public Hospital System Disparities, Long Term Care and Age Discrimination, Essential Employees, Disability Support Services and Mental Health.
While New York City is ahead of the curve in some respects when it comes to gender equity, the status quo allows for clear patterns of inequity to persist. The implications of this persistent gender inequity permeate to every facet of living in New York City living: health, economics, safety, transportation, education and more.
This talkback will gather stories from patients and caregivers in New York City and learn how we must change the system to be more responsive to meet peoplesβ needs. We encourage registration from community members who can speak from PERSONAL experience and testimony. Please join us. Your presence is vital.
