The NYC4CEDAW Coalition is a collective of representatives from nonprofit, community-based, and civil society organizations who will be primarily responsible for community education, base-building, and deciding/implementing strategic courses of action for constituent mobilization during the campaign.
Membership on the NYC4CEDAW Coalition is voluntary and open to all organizations headquartered in any of the five boroughs of New York City and who have a demonstrated track record of advocating for civil and human rights of women, girls, and transgender people.

Its collective members will raise public awareness on the issues that affect women and girls in NYC. It will be ensure the equal rights and protection of 4.4 million women and girls in the five boroughs of NYC.
